BACKSTORY & PHILOSOPHY
Rather than centering the brand solely around nails, the founders envisioned a cozy pixel-art universe filled with characters, lore, and environments that make customers feel like they’re stepping into a soft, magical RPG.
Our philosophy for the project was to treat every element, from the pixel art tilesets to the photography style, as part of a unified narrative. Instead of designing a standard e-commerce experience, we aimed to create an immersive environment where the product becomes an artifact of the world, and the website becomes a living space for storytelling.
Branding &
Product Direction
SukiWorld’s product direction was built around the idea that a press-on nail brand could feel like a collectible artifact from a larger universe. Each nail set draws inspiration from in-world locations, color palettes, and textures, allowing the product to become an extension of the world rather than a standalone item.
The branding leans into pixel-art identity, soft colors, and cozy RPG nostalgia. Photography was styled to feel handmade and story-driven, capturing the warmth and charm that define the SukiWorld aesthetic. Even without finalized packaging, the visual direction establishes a clear foundation for future product development: intuitive, handcrafted, and deeply connected to the world’s narrative.
A Playful UX Moment
As part of SukiWorld’s world-building strategy, we designed a lightweight interactive tarot feature embedded within the brand site. The goal was to transform passive browsing into a small moment of discovery, enhancing emotional connection and increasing dwell time without disrupting core e-commerce flows.
The mini-game allows visitors to draw and flip three cards, revealing a carefully curated interpretation that blends brand voice, intuitive UX, and playful motion design. We built the system using pure CSS and JavaScript to keep performance high and loading times virtually instant. All animations are GPU-accelerated, and the component is fully self-hosted, ensuring long-term stability.
This interactive element demonstrates how thoughtful micro-experiences can elevate a digital brand, turning casual visitors into engaged participants in a story-driven universe.
Flip the cards and see what finds you.
